Bullying Prevention

October is National Bullying Prevention Month!

The first Monday of each October is recognized as WORLD DAY OF BULLYING PREVENTION! Join King George County Schools on Monday, OCTOBER 7 as we join forces to #BLUEUP against Bullying!!! We ask everyone in our King George community - kids, moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, friends, everyone! - to participate in BLUE SHIRT DAY! Let's show our unity in preventing bullying and standing up for others!

As another school year begins, October is recognized nationally as "Bullying Prevention Month," kicking off awareness for our students, teachers, families, and communities throughout the country. But we also recognize that bullying prevention is important every day. Look for information coming from your children's schools about events planned for the month of October, as well as year round programs addressing bullying prevention, peer conflict, and positive behavior initiatives. Contact your school counselors for more information.
